GL: Divorce for Josh and Cassie

Cassie makes a shocking decision about her marriage this week.

On the heels of her emotional testimony at Grady's murder trial, Cassie retreats to Tammy's grave, confident she did all she could to help put her daughter's killer behind bars. So, when Josh arrives to console Cassie, she informs her estranged husband that she wants a divorce.

"She feels kicked to the curb and about as low as she can go," sighs Nicole Forester (Cassie). "She figures at least if they take care of the divorce immediately, then there will no place left to go but up. She tells him, 'If we file for divorce today, then today can be about ending things and tomorrow can be about beginnings.'"

Josh complies and asks to remain RJ's adoptive father. Then, the troubled couple dutifully meets to file the paperwork together. "[It's] about a somber as you can imagine." Forester previews. "It's not a frivolous time." The moment is especially bittersweet for Cassie after Josh tells her that he's plotting to win back Reva's affections, regardless of her upcoming nus to Jeffrey. "She's not surprised that Josh is going to pursue Reva, through she is surprised that he feels he has to tell her this so soon after signing their papers!" says Forester. "She also knows that Jeffrey's tough and warns Josh that he's not just going to gracefully step down."

Cassie, meanwhile, still has a lot of healing to do. "At this point Cassie can't really imagine any kind of happiness in her future." shrugs the actress. "Again her big sister seems to get everything!"

Cassie is hopeful, however, that closing this tumultuous chapter of her life will bring good in the next. "Anything positive for a change! She feels she has no one but herself and her son to turn to for comfort

In pratica l'articolo dice che Cassie, dopo il processo per la morte di Tammy, comunica a Josh di voler avviare il divorzio, così che possano andare avanti il prima possibile. Josh accetta ma le chiede di rimanere il padre adottivo di R.J.
La donna non è sorpresa di apprendere che Josh abbia intenzione di corteggiare Reva, ma è sorpresa dal fatto che lui glielo dica così presto e lo avverte che, vista la presenza di Jeffrey, non sarà facile.
Cassie spera per un futuro migliore, anche se al momento non vede speranza, e sua sorella è di nuovo quella che otterrà tutto.
