Since his proposal to Donna was interrupted last week, Eric prepares to pop the question once again -- unaware that Stephanie is blackmailing Donna. Unless Donna breaks up with Eric, Storm will go to jail for shooting Stephanie.

Felicia voices her disapproval of Donna and of Eric's behavior towards Stephanie. Stephanie visits Stephen in jail and tells him of the deal that she made with Brooke. Stephanie opens up to Ridge about her fears of losing Eric and how she doesn't know how she we be able to make it through the holidays without him. Stephanie recalls her previous Christmases with Eric in a montage just after Ridge tells her to have hope for a Christmas miracle. Donna surprises Eric with a small Christmas tree for his hotel room, as he deals with the dilemma of whom to spend the holiday with: his family or Donna. Brooke visits Charlie to once again view the videotape depicting Stephanie's shooter. After telling Charlie of her suspicions that Stephen was framed, Charlie assures Brooke that all evidence clearly points to her father. The real shooter is aware of Brooke's suspicions.
