SPW: Were you surprised when Katie went from basketball jerseys and pistachios to a hospital bed?

Heather Tom: It certainly wasn't something I was expecting. For the first time in a long time, this came as a surprise to the viewers and us. Jennifer and Ashley really did beautiful work.

So much of our vernacular is centered around the heart: "Home is where the heart is." It's very jarring. In this instance especially, it's not some anonymous donor. The act of how this came about is so shocking to Katie it compounds the tragedy. The fact that her brother would take his own life is devastating to her.

Stephanie is certainly not there to lecture her like that. It's one of those weird things where Stephanie doesn't really have any other place to go and finds herself in Katie's hospital room.

Rick arrives and offers to be Eric's best man. Eric is grateful for Rick's support, not knowing that Rick is in a relationship that others disapprove of, also. Bridget finds solace in Nick's arms after dealing with the events that had taken place with her family. Brooke and Donna are shocked at Katie's negative attitude toward Storm. Bridget tells Nick that she is aware that things between them were going pretty fast, but she's interested to see if there is a future for the two of them. If it doesn't work out, there will be no hard feelings. Nick agrees. Brooke warns Stephanie to be on her best behavior because the Logan family are the "new" Forresters. All of the wedding guests are at the edge of their seats impatiently awaiting Eric's "I do." Eric tells Donna that he loves her, she's changed his life ... and he WILL take her as his wife. The Forrester children are deeply disappointed as the minister pronounces Eric and Donna husband and wife. Eric looks over at a devastated Stephanie, who sits in complete disbelief.
SNEAK PEEK: Katie blames herself for Storm's death.
Rick arriva e si offre di fare da testimone ad Eric. Eric è grato a Rick per il suo supporto, non sapendo che Rick è coinvolto in una relazione che gli altri disapprovano.

Ridge fears that this may affect his relationship with Brooke. Donna calls her father, Stephen, and asks him to come back to town to help the family deal with everything. Stephen feels more and more responsible for the kind of person that Storm turned out to be and promises to be there for his children the way he should have when they were young. Eric compares Stephanie to Storm, stating how both of them would do anything for their families. Eric and Stephanie sign their divorce papers just in time for Donna and Eric to marry the following day. Ridge thinks Eric no longer wants to marry Donna.

Rick and Taylor Are Engaged!

Well...sort of. Last week, Rick popped the question to Taylor. This week, he's looking for an answer, but she's understandably distracted by something else. "They're walking into the courtroom for Jack's custody hearing so the timing isn't exactly right," chuckles Kyle Lowder. "She tells him that she just needs to focus on Jack right now, which is what she should be doing."

Rick isn't happy when he sees Brooke arrive and berates his meddling mom for showing up. "Rick reminds her that Jack is Nick and Taylor's son and this doesn't involve Brooke," Lowder points out, but Brooke counters that she has come to protect both of her sons from Taylor.

"Brooke tells the judge that she is Jack's biological mother and she feels that Taylor is still very unstable," sighs Lowder. "To prove her point, Brooke says, 'Judge, Taylor is having a serious relationship with my son and it's sick, twisted and inappropriate!' Brooke insists that Taylor is just out for revenge.

"She knows if the judge thinks they're engaged that he will see it as a serious relationship and not just a fling. So Taylor just rides the waves for the moment. It works because the judge basically tells Brooke that he doesn't see the sordid relationship that she says it is. He recognizes that Taylor and Rick have a serious thing together, so it backfires on Brooke."

Donna is very suspicious this week after Pam lashes out at her - and then Stephanie gives Donna and Eric her blessing. "It's driving Donna crazy!" sighs Jennifer Gareis. "It's scary but also fustrating, because Pamela only shows her crazy side to Donna. She's sweet to everyone else."

How dare you show your face here?' Stephanie says the same thing. Everyone is like, 'You did this, Donna. This is all you fault.' Donna doesn't know what to do. She collapses in Eric's arms and cries."

"Ever since she's known Stephanie, it's been one stunt after another. She's fearful that Stephanie's going to use the children to manipulate Eric to cancel their wedding plans."

I'm going to be the woman that Eric fell in love with initially and that's going to win him back.' Stephanie has always got something up her sleeve."

"She's going to fight for Eric, but she's not going to fight in a way that's manipulative," insists Gareis. "She'll probably fight for him like, 'This is how much I love you. You're going to be happy with me.'"

Bridget tries to convince Ridge to marry Brooke as soon as possible so that Bridget can move on with Nick. Nick tells Bridget that their relationship is moving too fast for him. Ridge confesses to Bridget that he plans on being very cautious before marrying Brooke again.

Brooke consults Storm about legal advice for keeping Taylor away from Jack. Ridge learns from Brooke that Storm is on a date with Ashley. Storm hopes that Ridge isn't revealing his secret — that he shot Stephanie.

Phoebe annuncia a Rick e alla sua famiglia che andrà in tour con Constantine.
Brooke consulta Storm per un consiglio legale per tenere Taylor lontana da Jack. Ridge apprende da Brooke che Storm ha un appuntamento con Ashley. Storm spera che Ridge non riveli il suo segreto - che ha sparato a Stephanie.

This week, B&B's Phoebe will announce to her family that she will be joining Constantine's musical tour. Does that mean her portrayer, MacKenzie Mauzy who hasn't had much air time lately is on her way out? A spokesperson assures that the actress isn't going anymore and also confirms that for now, Constantine Maroulis isn't reprising the role of Constantine.
Questa settimana Phoebe annuncerà alla sua famiglia che si unirà al tour musicale di Constantine. Questo significa che l'attrice Mackenzy Mauzy, che ultimamente non ha avuto molto spazio per recitare, stia per uscire dal cast? But first, she urges Marone to call things off with Bridget. "Katie decides that if Nick is going to use her niece for casual sex, then enough is enough," notes Heather Tom. But Nick maintains that if Bridget says she is okay with a no-strings-attached relationship, he's going to believe her. "Nick then calls Katie on the fact that she never lives her life because she's always so controlled," says Tom. "He challenges her to do something impulsive." That's when Katie kisses Nick, which surprises them both. "She actually starts to freak out, which amuses him," chuckles Tom. A flustered Katie tells Nick to forget what happened and tries to make a hasty exit, but runs right into Bridget, who is surprised by her aunt's rattled demeanor. After Katie leaves, Bridget zeroes in on Nick's aloofness and asks if there's another woman. His expression confirms her suspicion and Bridget announces she knows who this person is. "Katie is lurking outside and overhears this," says Tom. "It totally sends her into a panic."

Katie bacia Nick, ma prima incita Marone a chiudere con Bridget. "Katie stabilisce che, se Nick sta usando sua nipote per sesso occasionale, allora è troppo" dice Heather Tom. Ma Nick sostiene che, se Bridget dice che le va bene una relazione senza legami, lui ha intenzione di crederle. "Nick poi richiama Katie sul fatto che lei non ha mai vissuto la sua vita perchè è sempre così controllata" dice Tom "Lui la sfida a fare qualcosa di impulsivo."
E'questo il momento in cui Katie bacia Nick, cosa che sorprende entrambi. "Lei comincia veramente a perdere il controllo, cosa che diverte Nick" dice Tom. Una turbata Katie chiede a Nick di dimenticare l'accaduto e cerca di andar via frettolosamente, ma si imbatte in Bridget, che è sorpresa dal comportamento scosso della zia. Dopo che Katie va via, Bridget punta sulla freddezza di Nick e gli chiede se ci sia un'altra donna. La sua espressione conferma i suoi sospetti e Bridget annuncia di sapere chi sia questa persona. "Katie è nascosta fuori e sente ciò" dice Katie. "Questo la manda completamente nel panico."
