TvGuide Preview: Three's Company for B&B's Eric...?

Eric Forrester has a problem. His wife won't give him up. And neither will his other wife. Played on The Bold and the Beautiful by John McCook, the Calvin Klein-like fashion designer recently came out of a coma to find his estranged spouse, Donna (Jennifer Gareis), in a battle royal with Stephanie (Susan Flannery), to whom he's been married three times. Nothing new there — they've been fighting over him for months —but now both gals want to live with Eric in the Forrester mansion and are forcing him to choose between them. So, on Nov. 5, he decides that all three will live together.
Eric Forrester ha un problema. Sua moglie non mollerà. E neanche l'altra moglie. Interpretato a B&B da John McCook, lo stilista tipo Calvin Klein recentemente è venuto fuori dal coma e ha trovato la moglie Donna (Jennifer Garies) allontanata, in una battaglia con Stephanie (Susan Flanney), con la quale è stato sposato tre volte. Niente di nuovo fin qui - hannno combattuto per lui per mesi - ma adesso entrambe vogliono vivere con Eric a casa Forrester e lo stanno spingendo a scegliere fra loro. "It's a rather medieval way to handle the problem — and someone is sure to wind up in the tower — but it's the best Eric can do at the moment," McCook says. "He's got a business to run. The economy is crazy. His children are all fighting. He doesn't know what else to do. He loves both women — for completely different reasons — so he thinks the way to solve the situation is for them to play Jack, Chrissy and Janet."
"E' un modo piuttosto medievale di affrontare il problema - e qualcuno sicuramente andrà a finire nella torre (?) - ma è il meglio che possa fare Eric al momento" dice McCook. "Deve badare agli affari, l'economia è fragile, i suoi figli stanno tutti litigando. Non sa che altro fare. Ama entrambe le donne - per motivi completamente diversi - quindi pensa che il modo per risolvere la situazione sia giocare a Jack, Chrissy e Janet."

McCook should be quite comfy in that scenario, since he appeared on Three's Company three times. "I always played a different character, but I was always some kind of a--hole womanizer," he recalls. "In one episode, John Ritter punched me and I went over a couch. In another, I punched him and he went over a couch."
McCook dovrebbe essere piuttosto a suo agio in questo contesto, visto che ha fatto parte della Compagnia dei tre per tre volte. "Ho sempre interpretato un diverso personaggio, ma ero una specie di donnaiolo" ricorda. "In un episodio, John Ritter mi ha dato un pugno e io sono finito sl divano. B&B might get just as goofy. In one scene, Donna attempts to climb into bed with Eric only to find Stephanie under the sheets instead. "We're not doing a situation comedy," McCook insists, "but it's definitely a situation."

Eric's Shocking Announcement SOD 11/11 (traduco appena possibile)

This week, a well-meaning Eric tries to hasten Rick's recovery by urging his son to get better so he can return to the family biz. "Eric say, 'I can't wait for you to come back to work,' but Rick has his own surprise, " sets up John McCook (Eric). "He says he's not coming back as long as Ridge is there. Rick is obviously still very bitter toward his brother and doesn't think he can work for Ridge ever again"

Erick is wonded when Rick makes a startling declaration. "He feels over-looked and he blames his dad,: reveal McCook. "He's angry and keeps talking about Ridge. Of course, Eric feels guilty. Through the years, he has really given Ridge everything and the only person he will listen to about that is Rick."

When Erick asks what he needs to do in order to get Rick to work at FCs, Rick has just the answer. "He'll only come back if he and Ridge are equals,: sighs McCook. Later, Erick is peeved durig a business meeting when Ridge urges his dad to take it easy. "He wants Erick to relax and sit in a lawn chair somewhere," chuckles McCook. "Then Ridge brings up what he really wants to talk about. He reminds Eric that he agreed to give the company to him before (Eric's) heart attack. Eric has to point out that he had changed his mind about retiring and Ridge already knows this. There's a lot of conflict going on." So Ridge once again asks his dad to relinuish control of the fashion house, but Eric can't ignore Rick's threats to bail if that ever happens. "Eric explains that all his kids have to be considered before such a decision can be made and Ridge realizes that Eric has been talking to Rick," say McCook. "Ridge is very displeased, but Eric admonishes him for trying to take over the company while Eric was in a coma. Eric insists that he will decide how his children will run Forrester - when he's ready."

Eric returns to Brooke's house and vows to Rick that he's not going to leave behind a job he loves. When Rick argues that he won't come back, Eric gets tough. "He say that Ridge is going to be president of president of Forrester, so Rick will just have to suck it up," says McCook. "That's when Rick says, 'He tried to kill yuo, Dad." Eric runs up against a Brick wall with that. He's stunned."" Which compels Eric to make a shocking announcement about FCs. Teases McCook, "All hell breaks loose with Eric and his sons."

Io spero che Eric scelga Donna e mandi a quel paese Stephanie
Io spero che Eric scelga Rick perchè per una volta vorrei vedere Ridge dalla parte opposta. Sotto l'aspetto lavorativo è sempre stato molto arrogante. E per altro come dice Andrea, Rick è sangue del suo sangue mentre Ridge no.

Non vanno mica in perscrizione le cose fatte da Ridge, non ti ci mettere nei panni di Ridge, mi deludi

Ma infatti non deve pagare per questo incidente assolutamente. Però come dice Andrea per quel che riguarda la Forester mi piacere vedere Rigde fuori da ogni gioco, perchè è sempre stato presuntuoso, borioso e arrogante.
