Reunited And It Feels So Good! Susan Flannery Reunites With B&B Cast!

It's been 7 years since Susan Flannery's character, Stephanie Forrester was killed off on The Bold and the Beautiful. But, just yesterday Flannery got a chance to reconnect with some of her greatest pals from working on the show. Flannery drove from Santa Barbara for the special retirement party for Laura Yale, a B&B Stage Manager. It was a joyous moment as many had not seen Flannery for quite some time especially her former onscreen husband, John McCook (Eric Forrester) who hadn't seen her in all of 6 years.

In regards to this special reunion, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Forrester) wrote, "The 3 of us back together again! So good to see Susan Flannery! She drove down from Santa Barbara to come to our stage manager, Laura’s retirement party. Love u Susie Q!!! #BoldandBeautiful #johnmccook #susanflannery #katherinekellylang #cbsdaytime". Katherine Kelly Lang Talks 32 Years On B&B — Praises Thorsten Kaye’s Portrayal Of Ridge Forrester SOAP OPERA DIGEST


The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) star Katherine Kelly Lang talks about 32 years playing Brooke Logan and what the soap opera means to her. She talked about Thorsten Kaye as Ridge Forrester and her favorite catfights. Here’s what you need to know about her interview.










Lang said that she is having so much fun with Brooke’s storyline with Taylor Haynes (Hunter Tylo) right now. She said that it is deep in their history. And, she’s amazed that after all these years it is still the same love triangle – Ridge, Brooke, and Taylor.


She looks back 30 years ago on her relationship with Ridge (played by Ronn Moss then) and she had no idea they’d be such a super couple today. She said that back then Ridge was a jerk – a complete womanizer.


As for what’s happening ahead, she has no idea. She said that she gets her script about one week before taping to memorize. So, she is in the dark with the fans on what’s ahead for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and the Ridge.
Katherine told Soap Opera Digest that when Ronn decided to leave the show after 25 years as Ridge, she wasn’t sure how they’d bring someone else in to take over the role. Brad Bell, B&B showrunner, decided to wait a year to bring Ridge back into the storyline.


Lang said that was brilliant. It gave the fans the chance to mourn Moss’ departure and come to terms with his decision to walk away. It also showed the fans that Ridge is needed on the show to keep everything balanced. So, when Thorsten debuted as Ridge, he was accepted by the fans.


The actress shared that the best part about Kaye’s recast was that he knew going in he couldn’t try to mimic Moss’ version of Ridge. He had to make the character his own. And, he’s done that.
Lang cannot believe that it’s been 32 years that she’s been on the show. She thinks back at all the fights, tears, and drama and she cannot help but feel proud of her run. She hopes that she has many more years left on B&B.
